I’m experiencing an issue where when night transitions to day, I get a low temperature alert. The reason is that my room has not yet warmed up to the daytime set point.
I don’t have a great solution for this, but my idea: we could have a “ramp alert set points” option, which allowed us to specify when to start and end the ramp, which in its simplest version would be a number of minutes that the alert set points ramp before and after the light transition.
For instance, the user could toggle on the “ramp set points” feature, and enter “20 minutes”. Let’s say their lights turned on and of at 8am/8pm, then the alert set points would start ramping at 7:40 and finish ramping at 8:20.
I prefer to keep my alerts pretty tight, which is why I’m having this problem. I could widen my alert bands, but then it would begin to defeat the purpose of having a different alarm set point for day and night.
This request is similar but not identical to prior requests,
