Pulse Pro will not reconnect after modem goes down

Why can’t I reconnect after network goes down ? Do I have to setup all my devices again ??Every time my modem goes off I have to reset all my devices one by one … really frustrating ;(

Just curious if your device is battery operated? But it does seem odd that you’re almost power cycling your devices or at the very least restoring factory default.

Sigh, modem issues are such a pain.

When I’ve had issues like that it has resulted from devices not being assigned new/good IP addresses. A modem going offline (it would be helpful to know why this is happening) can cause the modem to be issues a new public IP, and often reset the modem’s own IP table resulting in clients needing to request a new ip assignment.

Devices that fail to request a new one and try to use the old one will fail to reach the internet until you force them to refresh their own connection.

Sometimes the fault of this is modem settings. Like conflicts between static ips on one node and dynamic on the others. Or it can be weird if you have unusual settings on the modems like DMZ or if you have a modem that is separate from your router and the router itself is not getting updated IP info from the modem.

My advice is to factory reset, then re-set up your router to clear up any unusual settings.
