It would very handy to have the ability of sending notifications to more than 1 person
That would be a good thing to add. In the meantime, depending on your email system, you can either create a distribution list email that contains the users you want to send the alerts to and change the email address in Pulse to that. Or setup a rule to forward all emails coming from the Pulse alerts to the other needed recipients.

Or add a list for approved users on the pulse that you may send an invite too for them to see the app aswell but not have any mod controls
This is actually the next big feature we’re working on. Inviting users, managing them, etc. Some of the behind the scenes work for this is already done, and we’re planning the next phase right now.
