Sorry for the noob question, but after I set up a new pulsegrow-pro, I wanted to turn it off and let it fully charge. I tried holding down the button for 3, 5, 10, and 25 seconds, and afterward my cell phone app was still reading the sensors. I looked around, and I found an online suggestion that I should be able to turn it off inside the (Android) native app, or in the web app via the device settings. When I looked under settings, I did not find any buttons, etc., suggesting I could turn it off. I have since unplugged it, and it is still running. I figure that there is some magic Vulcan death-grip to cause the unit to shut down while still charging the batteries.
Thanks.
The Pro will automatically charge the rechargeable battery whenever it is plugged in, and in the event of power loss, the backup battery will kick in until power is regained. We recommend leaving the Pro plugged into wall power 24/7 to ensure stable and reliable connectivity.
That assumes that the hardware would support it.
