Typically, lights will have a minimum dim at which they will light, and a separate minimum dim where they will remain lit.
In most cases I’ve encountered, lights starting from off will not light until a dim percentage of about 7. Once on, the lights may not turn off until about 6 or 5, but it’s usually consistent per manufacturer.
I’m guessing that you’ve set your pulse’s lights on time to the time when your ramping begins and when your ramping ends; but the light when your ramping begins will be 0 and will continue to be zero until your dimmer reaches 7% and the lights come on, which will be some time later (and therefore trigger an alarm saying the lights did not come on at the expected time. On the other end, the lights will turn off earlier than your end time of 0% because they will have shut off at 6% or 5%, whatever.
If I’m correct, then what I’d recommend is for you to set up your controller to start at 7% and ramp to 100%, then from 100% down to 7%. That way you know for sure that your lights will come on at the set time and turn off at the set time.
As for the minimum alart set point for the daytime period, I’d look for whatever reading you get when your lights are set at the minimum and put your alarm below that. However, keep in mind if your pulse is in a place that will be shaded by the plants, then the amount of light will go down as the plants grow.
