Connect to Fiber Optic Wifi

Our internet service provider has upgraded our wifi to fiber optic and now I cannot connect my Pulse Pro!!! Help!!!

If they changed your existing network/router, then your network is probably 5G or dualband as that’s today’s standard. You can go into your router settings (or ask your ISP) to create a new network that is 2.4GHz only, I usually annotate the new network as “newNetwork-2.4” just for simplicity, but you can name it whatever.

The same thing happened to me a while back. Unplug it until it’s completely dead and plug back in. It should then connect back up.

While this is a good suggestion in some instances, that’s a pretty rare occurrence and only needs to be done when confirmed by a member of the team  Likely in this instance their ISP just updated the Internet to 5G/Dualband during the fiber upgrade. Thank you for providing suggestions!!

Happy holidays and happy new year!

Indeed. From a past life doing contracting, it was common for ISPs to come out for an upgrade or other change, and replace equipment with no regard for how the rest of the network in the office was setup. They plug-in to their endpoint device, and go “it’s working”, and the rest is often left to the client to figure out what all changed. Then, I get a call their security cameras no longer work

Hope you had good holidays, John. You’re always hard at work
