Bug: Refresh while changing settings loses changes

I’ve noticed on the app and using a web browser, that if I’m making changes to settings and an automatic refresh happens, all settings go back to the prior settings.

Because of this bug, I have to make a change, hit save, make another change, hit save, etc. so that I don’t think I made a change that didn’t get registered.

I hit this a while back and completely forgot about it. I can reproduce this issue on the iOS app as well.
